Not many 44-year-olds are multimillionaires. And Mike Mann doesnt plan on slowing down.
The reason?
Charity work.
He is the founder of many successful corporations including Phone.com, SEO.com DomainMarket.com, BrowserMedia, Yield Software, PurePPC.com and others. The "serial entrepreneur" has been conducting business online since the 1990s. He also founded the worlds largest secondary market for domain names, BuyDomains.com.
Having launched his career at the dawn of the Internet age, Mann stresses to those who are trying to adhere to his business principals that giving back is the reason he became rich in the first place.

Mann is the founder and chairman of Grassroots.org, a 501c3 charitable network promoting social action and providing free services to nonprofits, whose goal is to deliver 100M in value per year.
"Its critical to do something meaningful with your life. Just conducting business for the hell of it is pointless and useless," Mann said. "Theres really no reason to have self confidence if youre just going to try to make money so you can buy a fancy car."
He hopes his book helps create legions of new philanthropists by passing along techniques that have helped make him successful.
"My book literally teaches people from all backgrounds how to make millions," Mann said. "But a bigger point is about making change. That is a fundamental purpose of the book."
