DIME announces the new Diabetes eJournal Club, an online continuing medical education (CME) activity designed to address gaps in knowledge and competence among physicians and other healthcare professionals who treat and manage patients with type 2 diabetes. In the first half of 2011, the Diabetes eJournal Club will meet on the first Tuesday of the monthMarch 1, April 5, and May 3, and again on July 12. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
The Diabetes eJournal Club is directed to endocrinologists, primary care physicians, internists, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who treat and manage patients with type 2 diabetes. Each interactive monthly session discusses a recent peer-reviewed journal article and its relevance to clinical behavior in everyday practice. Diabetes eJournal Club sessions include:
