Broken Wings Tells of Lives Intertwined By Fate

Shelton, CT (Vocus) April 29, 2010

Amy and Jill... Two women unwillingly bound by destiny. This makes for the book Broken Wings, written by Terri Ciccarini. In this novel, readers will be able to follow how the lives of these two young mothers, and those of their newly born children, will become irrevocably intertwined with a series of unexpected events and unbelievable outcomes.

Amy and Jill... Two pregnant young women who had never met until they crossed paths, as they were both headed toward the Emergency Room entrance at Griffin Hospital. Far along in their respective labors, they soon gave birth without any complications. A little girl, Samantha, was born to Amy, and a little boy, Drew, To Jill. Amazingly, both babies arrived at the exact same time, down to the exact same minute and second: 3:45:18 am. Coincidence? Perhaps... Fate? Could be. The unknown fact then, however, was how irrevocably linked their lives would be from that moment on, and would remain so for the duration of their natural lives, punctuated by unbelievable events and even more unbelievable consequences and outcomes.

A horrific head-on car crash, leading to the loss of two innocent lives. Two spouses eagerly waiting at home for their mates to arrive from a journey that had tragically just ended for both of them.

A dying nine year-old... A distraught mother... A 'casual' encounter with a charismatic stranger. An inconceivably sinister pact, reached during a time of extreme despair. The granting of the greatest gift of all to one mother, while the grandest sorrow known to any parent was delivered to another. How long could such sordid secret remain safely locked away, though?

Amy and Jill... Samantha and Drew... Four lives that unfortunately crossed the point of no return. Could a truly noble woman's sense of justice, determination and, above all, courage, manage to undo some of the harm that had already been done? Be careful of what you wish for: you might very well be unlucky enough to actually get it.... For more information on this book, interested parties may log on to Xlibris.com.
